When you buy safety items for your Cessna buy this one first. I operate our 185 with one Aerostop Seat Lock on each front seat inside rail. One of my Aerostop’s is an original prototype from the 1980’s. It still works perfectly and for more than 2000 hours of flying has not damaged the top surface of the seat rail like the screw type stops do. Used properly it works every time. Even though I recently added the free Cessna seat belt type stop to my left seat I kept my Aerostop’s in place on both pilot seats. They can save your airplane or maybe even your life!
